About
Welcome to my latest find in the heart of New York City – Trinity Place. This remarkable dining spot captures the essence of New American cuisine while nestled within an actual bank vault, creating a unique and classy atmosphere unlike any other. Located at 115 Broadway, New York, NY 10006, Trinity Place is perfect for impressing someone special without breaking the bank.
From the moment you step through the imposing bank vault doors, the ambiance sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The venue blends elegance with a moderate noise level, making it suitable for everything from intimate dinners to lively gatherings. Plus, with outdoor seating, a full bar, and a pool table, there's something to enjoy for everyone in your party.
The menu at Trinity Place is a delightful exploration of flavors. Start with the Soup of the Day, complemented by brioche croutons for a cozy touch. The Mediterranean Salad is a vibrant mix of Bibb lettuce, fried chickpeas, and crumbled feta, drizzled with a refreshing lemon-parsley vinaigrette. For something heartier, you can't miss the Spring Cavatelli, showcasing fresh seasonal ingredients like asparagus, chanterelle mushrooms, and a creamy roasted garlic sauce that dances on your palate.
And let's not forget the standout dishes – the Duck Leg Confit Risotto and the Gorgonzola and Ricotta Ravioli are must-tries, offering a perfect balance of rich flavors and textures. As one customer noted, the duck leg dish is a highlight that you won't want to miss!
Trinity Place also prides itself on its attentive service. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just unwinding after a long day, the friendly staff create a warm and welcoming environment. Many patrons rave about the attentive nature of the servers and the ability to accommodate larger groups seamlessly.
To top it all off, Trinity Place is a haven for those who love to enjoy a drink or two. With happy hour specials and a diverse cocktail menu – like the refreshing green tea cocktail – your evening is guaranteed to be enjoyable. For a casual outing or a night filled with laughter and memories, this establishment also welcomes dogs and provides Wi-Fi for those who may want to extend their visit.
In conclusion, whether you’re looking for a delectable meal or a lively spot to kick back with friends, Trinity Place checks all the boxes. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to this gem in the Financial District. You might just find your new go-to restaurant in New York City!
“ Great space to take someone when you want to impress them but not break the bank, pun intended. The ambiance is great, you have to walk through literal bank vault doors just to enter the restaurant. Food has always been good and very reasonably priced considering the atmosphere. Never had a bad server here either! ”
“ The service was excellent. We had a party of 6 and couldn't have went any better. Everyone liked the food, chicken Cesar salad, wagu burgers, fettuccini all with no complaints. If going don't miss the desserts. We had the chocolate truffles, cheesecake and crème brûlée. Next time in NYC we are coming back here. Also it is really cool place to have dinner. ”
“ I stopped in Trinity Place with a friend for post-work drinks. Originally, they were completely full and we were eyeing a spot at the bar. But then they were able to get us a table. I had a green tea cocktail, I can't remember the name of it now, but it was so good. I ended up having two of these. It does get very loud in the bar area, so do keep that in mind if you're looking for a quieter spot for drinks. ”
“ This is a pretty relaxing place inside a Vault. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had the Barrata . It was beautifully presented . The dish had an interesting variety of ingredients. I was freezing out so Hit Toddies were perfect. ”
“ Solid new American food spot. Restaurant is in a bank vault which is pretty cool and definitely gives FiDi vibes! Not much good food in FiDi, so this place feels like a godsend. Service left a little to be desired, but we had a big party so don't imagine it's the norm. Definitely go for the duck leg! ”
“ I have been to this place on a few occasions. Both times I have enjoyed! The place has history. It is an old bank in the fidi. They have great bar if you just want to go for drinks. They also have very good food if looking for lunch or dinner. I went for a business lunch and the atmosphere was perfect. I enjoyed the food as well. Also went out for drinks a couple of times. I liked the drinks and enjoyed hanging out here. I would recommend going if in the area. ”
“ I recently visited this old haunt when I met with friends for pre-dinner drinks. An old bank vault, I've been to this hot spot numerous times especially when I worked in the area. From bar food to lunch and dinner, I've tried a lot. It's a cozy spot that can get crowded especially towards the end of the week. At least I'm assuming it still might be. I'm sure the regulars still drop by for that after work drink or two. Recommend. ”
“ The food was fine. The drinks weren't bad, but they weren't overly creative or mind-blowing. But the staff and management was AMAZING! So how did we get here? I made a last minute reservation on OpenTable on a Thursday night. I got there and the host tells me this was a mistake; that the app allowed me to reserve a table that was not available. He calls the manager, who tells me the back room has been prepared for an event, and somehow I was mistakenly able to reserve a table in this space. They were absolutely packed, so also keep that in mind when you make the decision to come here as well . . . it's in FiDi, so a lot of business people clogging the bar area for after-work drinks. Anyway . . . the manager went out of her way to make a place for me. I ended up sitting in a back corner in the event space (it didn't start until an hour and a half after my reservation). She actually apologized over and over about my "child in solitary" dining situation, but I think it worked out great! I was away from the crowd and the noise, and service was still really attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. I had the petite filet medallions served with broccolini and gruyere potato gratin. The medallions were cooked appropriately, medium as I asked, and weren't bad. Maybe a little more seasoning? The broccolini was charred perfectly and had just the right amount of crunch. The potatoes were pretty bland though. I had the New York cheesecake with Nilla wafer crust. It was pretty good! They also have cavatelli, ricotta ravioli, duck leg confit risotto, ahi tuna, scallops, blackened salmon, a wagyu burger. They have apps like charcuterie and cheese boards, pate, salads, tartare. They have a bar menu as well. Prices are moderate for New York. I had a few cocktails. Sweater Weather (dark rum, apple, maple, walnut, ginger)--a fall selection. I had the pearfect pearl (grey goose, pear, rosemary, ginger, lime). This was probably the cleanest and most refreshing. And then the people's margarita (blanco, lime, pineapple, agave). They also didn't rush me as people started to arrive (I was still out before the event started, but they didn't even ask me to leave). The decor here is pretty cool too. It's in an old bank vault. Would definitely return when I'm downtown. Thank you so much to the awesome staff who went out of their way to not let a faulty reservation ruin my plans! ”
“ I stopped in for happy hour. The bar area was fairly busy with the after work crowd. Service was great! The HH rose' wine was surprisingly good. It's not a large HH menu so I ordered food from the bar menu. The tuna tostadas were delicious. A decent amount of tuna for the price but a small portion. The tuna was very fresh. I couldn't get enough of the chipotle mayo. Perfect compliment to the dish. For an appetizer, the flavors were perfectly balanced. I will definitely be back. Not sure how I haven't found this place before. Walked by it a million times.... The old bank vault is really cool. ”
“ I had booked a reservation here for dinner with my mom and stepdad as they are visiting New York City for the first time. I wanted to take them to a place where they could get a decent steak or burger and that wasn't too awfully pricey. I had done some research and it seemed this place fit the bill and also had a unique I'll beyond being in a bank vault. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and we were seated in the bar area, it didn't look like the back dining room was open yet. Next time I would probably wait for a later reservation as trying to sit in the bar area and have a dinner was not a good idea. It was so obnoxiously loud in there with all of the after work crowd that we could not hear each other. My mother ended up super frustrated that we could not speak during our meal. The food was just OK, they said the fillet was very nice. The coq au vin really lacked flavor and my mahi was just OK. I really like seafood and I liked the variety of veggies in the broth, but it was just somewhat bland. the pricing wasn't too bad, my husband and my bill totaled about $100 before tip. I had one glass of wine and my husband had two beers. The service was really good. Food came out promptly so all of that was great. ”
